What was worrying us for the intervening period of time between "Idea" and "Action" was - How to create the elements of the design in a fitting manner? The answer came in the new year of 2013 with the arrival of The Cooker - my glass fusing kiln. All sorts of wonderful things (as well as a lot of booboos) can be created with a kiln. Here we are loading the kiln for the first of five various firings. These were cooked at about 1500F - each firing takes almost 20 hours to complete.
