Communicable Project Pieces

I was thrilled to be invited to participate with about 145 other mosacists from around the world in this project directed by Lynn Monet Bevino. Called " Communicable" it will feature each artist's own take on the Covid 19 pandemic and the Communicable nature of the virus. Each artist was sent a set of balsa circles and given very specific weight and material restrictions - outside of those, we were instructed to "Do Your Thing". These are my things - contributions - and we eagerly await the compilation of all the pieces sometime around August 2020. "Communicable" will be on view in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in September 2020, and then travel to galleries around the US.

The smallest pieces are my interpretation of the virus itself - unique and ugly with maybe a smidge of beauty!
