Starting out with a zinc frame that had an inset mirror - working the fusions (just out of the kiln) with different pieces glass. Believe it or not, I had a design in mind - but as often happens, the material within the design changes as the project progresses......

Next, all the elements come off, the mirror is masked and the zinc substrate is coated with several coats of adhesive, then sanded to a smooth finish. Then the tiles along the edges are applied....
